Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 10, 2026
Averta Inc. ("Averta," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website averta.io and the Averta OS platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.
This policy covers two different contexts. For visitors to our website and people who contact us, Averta decides how and why data is processed. For content that flows through the Averta platform when an organization integrates it (such as prompts, model outputs, and tool-call records), we process that data on the customer's behalf and under the customer's agreement: the customer controls that data, and this policy describes our handling of it in the Customer Content section below.
Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Account information: name, email address, company name, and job title when you create an account or request a demo.
- Communications: any information you provide when you contact us, including support requests and feedback.
- Payment information: billing details processed through our third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent on pages, and referral sources.
- Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies:see the Cookies & Tracking section below.
Customer Content processed through the platform
When an organization integrates Averta into its AI systems, the content of AI interactions flows through the platform so we can provide the service: prompts and inputs, model outputs, tool calls and their results, and the policy decisions and audit records produced from them ("Customer Content"). We process Customer Content on the customer's instructions and under the customer's agreement, solely to provide, secure, and support the services. Customer Content is encrypted in transit and at rest, sensitive fields can be redacted before storage, retention is configurable by the customer, and deployment options are available that keep Customer Content in customer-selected infrastructure and regions.

- Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices.
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.

- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our services.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities.
- Personalize and improve your experience on our platform.

- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.
- With your consent: when you have given us explicit permission to share your information.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We may also retain and use your information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@averta.io. If your request concerns Customer Content processed through an Averta customer's deployment, we will refer the request to the relevant customer, who controls that data, and support them in responding.
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activity. Non-essential cookies (such as analytics and marketing tools, including HubSpot) are only set after you give consent through the cookie banner on our website, and you can change your preferences at any time through the banner or your browser settings.
